Worship with New Salem

Come Worship with Us

Worship is the discovering and declaring the magnificence of the all mighty God. It is remembering Him in every breath we take, every sight we see, every move we make, not just on Sundays but everyday throughout our lives.

What To Expect

Visiting us for the first time? Here is what you can expect:

We will be awaiting your arrival at either one of our morning Worship Services. Expect to be led where to park by our Saints Of Security in the parking lot area. Upon entering the foyer expect to be greeted by the Welcome Ministry with a smile and a good morning welcome. Please let them know if it is your first time visiting and if you have any questions they are standing at the ready to answer or guide you to where you need to be.

The Well

Every 2nd and 4th Sunday our youth grades 6th - 12th connect together to worship God in a service designed just for them. Under the direction of the youth ministry team, they use current events, relationships, and God's word in fun innovative ways all in an effort to cause students to grow into the measure and stature that God is calling them to become in order to impact the world.

Sunday Mornings

Inside the Sanctuary expect a complete Worship experience starting with Praise and Worship Ministry, Corporate Prayer, a mixture of hymns, contemporary and gospel music, ministry by one of the Worship Arts Ministries, followed by a complete practical teaching of the scriptures from Pastor Troy and probably one of the most important reasons that we come together is to extend a loving invitation to anyone that desires a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Activities For Children

Promiseland Children's Ministry

The focus of our Promiseland Children's Ministry is to serve children from birth through fifth (5th) grade to receive biblical teaching and practical application through small and large group presentations.  Creative communicators present Biblical truths through music, puppetry, teaching and multi-media presentations.

Communion
"For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord."
1 corinthians 11:23-27
Baptism
"And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord."  Acts 22:16

"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him" 1John 5:14-15
